Wish you good luck with the weather! Seems there is some fresh snow on top of the mountains.
My windscreen got wet on the inside this afternoon but I escaped some worse showers.

We've dodged showers for the past eight days. It must be the wrong sort of rain because we have got wet. laugh2 Looking at the Stelvio and Timmelsjoch webcams earlier it was snowing on both. snow

Saw a very nice Connaught Green Mog parked up in Upton on Severn today and then on the back road to Ledbury near British Camp came across another Ivory White heading towards Malvern. Have to say I do like the Ivory White Mogs especially with a nice dark blue leather.

I visited a lovely coffee stop - a very original garden centre called The Nest on the Ledbury to Hereford road. They specialise in home made Scotch eggs of various types and have a great cafe serving good stuff with the garden centre being much more interesting than the usual dross. Highly recommended! Not quite. The factory have checked it over and the geometry etc is fine. The alloys though are not. Whilst not buckled they are not quite round and they all have a large amount of balancing weights on them. They've rebalanced and fitted weights on the outer rims of the front wheels to,achieve a better balance. I'm told that some of the batches of alloys were not that good....mine must be those!

As my tin-top is not feeling very well, the Morgan is my daily car - and not for the first time - Have covered over 200 miles in the past week. Luckily the weather has been good to me, if a little cold at time. What is they say about weather and the right clothes.

After nine days of intermittent rain at last a sunny day! A super drive around Slovenia's Triglav National Park and visit to Tolminska Korita (The Tolmin Gorge). Some terrific views going over the Vrsic Pass (Slovenia's highest Pass) and the Predil Pass. A bit chilly here but probably colder still if we return over the Stelvio.

Ken welcome to Central Europe and yes you really are doing some terrific roads. I note with admiration you are keeping the hood down. It has been a pretty miserable start to autumn here and your trip coincided with the change. For us there was a sudden switch from the perfect summer to miserable wind and rain. Enjoy yourself. At least here in Vienna the weekend is looking a bit better.
