I have just watched a BBC2 documentary about Chris Hoy driving his first LeMans with a novice team. Excellent stuff and gives you a small insight as to just how difficult it is to finish. Watch it on catch up if you can.

Yes great programme and what a great coffee machine he has ! Have just watched the Guy Martin programme when he was trying to beat the record for the fastest man powered boat and Chris Hoy was training him for this another 'must watch' event!

Chris Hoy. A very interesting and well made program, with excellent editing to capture the emotions of the race. When your there at Le Mans you never realise the drama going on in every pit.
And then there is Guy Martin going for the motorcycle Land Speed Record. Channel 4 last Sunday. Another great program, and what a great rider/pilot he turned out to be.

I do wonder what some young talented drivers without a drive think of hoys publicity driven rise to the top.

Have just watched this in catch-up.
What an excellent documentary, well made and with a great end.
I wonder how much 'sponsorship' Chris Hoy bought with him to the team?
The bankable publicity for the Algarve Pro Racing Team must have been well worth it too. But who paid whom?
