While I'm soon to join the ranks of Morgan 3 wheeler owners, I am presently in that limbo that is "waiting for my build to start". Production number 84074 is currently slated for the 3rd week of January, 2017.
From reading other posts here I have a suspicion that may slip, but I'm quite patient.
After all, I've waited many years to order my dream car, a few more months just means more time making 3 wheeler noises while behind the wheel of my 4runner - usually to the chagrin of my passengers.
I've owned several Triumph cars (not counting the other handful that I had for parts and restoration!), and am fortunate/ crazy enough to be part of a team that actually endurance races a 1975 Austin(Morris) Marina in the 24 Hours of LeMons.
With that in mind I'm familiar with peculiar cars, wrench turning, occasional cursing, and am looking forward to learning the eccentricities of the Morgan.
I've been enjoying the forums here and, unable to shake my Triumph habits, have already started making the list of spare parts I should have on hand, and bits and pieces to upgrade along the way...
I hope to see some of you in person at
the 2017 South Central British Car Gathering, the
Morgan Three Wheeler Convention, or just out and about somewhere.
