Quick question
On my year 2000 4/4 Ii have lines going to the top of the suspension which link and go to a little plunger type device mounted to the left hand wing in the engine compartment.
If this is for grease to get pressure/ pump where do I fill it up from?
Advice appreciated, can get a photo in the morning if not.
Cheers Tom

This is the "One Shot" oil lubrication system. It uses engine oil from a pressure side of the oil system.

Most of prefer to use grease in the suspension, so tend not to use it, BUT if you do choose to make use of this feature then the general rules are:

Don't overdo things , once a month should be sufficient, unless you are covering high mileages daily.

Wait until the engine has good oil pressure from a cold start.

Then press the button whilst someone watches the oil pressure gauge, and tells you to stop when the needle dives.

Make sure there is no surplus anywhere, you really don't ant oil on the brake discs.
