A long weekend in the Forrest of Dean visiting towns starting with L who's names it seems I can't get right.
Great fun in the autumnal chill & about 400 mile clocked up. 12800 miles covered since we bought the car in May 2014 .

You should have mentioned it before Adrian. I am in Whitchurch on the A34, it would have been nice to say hello.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Great day out, Adrian! Perfect way to spend it in the perfect car. Managed another trip today to bore another friend about Greenland. Drove back as the sun was setting over the Forest of Dean in a blazing red display. So good! Ps Hi Ian - yes, loving the car, and should drive it every day to get my fix.

Yes it was a great day out. Sound like your loving the Aero. You went through the Forest of Dean , I heard things can be a a bit strange there.

I and went to Hampshire in the Aero yesterday. I did not know where we were going, it was a surprise day out on our 33rd wedding anniversary. Sue gave directions as we travelled. 132 miles there, 25 cross country on some nice Devon/Somerset roads, about 80miles on dual carriageway cruising 70-80, and the rest to the first planned destination. A couple of cars took photos as we passed each other. I guessed our first destination as we got near. It was Newton Valance church where we got married all those years ago. The church was unlocked so we were able to go inside and reminis, a lovely small 13th century church, with Saxon origins. Then we sat on a bench outside opposite the pond and had a coffee from the flask we had taken and a cake. Then at 12:15 at orders off we went to destination 2, this time it was to the hostelry that used to be the Pig and Whistle on the way to East Meon, this was where we had our wedding reception. The place has been change a bit inside but still has the same feel. Surprise was my best man Chris and his wife were waiting for us to have lunch (I was also his best man 3 years after Sue and I got married). So a great lunch catching up and remembering when we were in our twenties. After the 3rd surprise was to go to our best friends in Holybourne for tea. We left at 5:30 and returned via A31 and Kings Worthy, the A34 and then back onto the A303, getting home around 8:00. We finished the day off with some bubbly and our favourite Peking Duck. A lovely day, and the Aero was perfect, averaging 30mpg. excellent day out Adrian and a lovely surprise too James
