Thanks again guys and if anyone want advice on changing out fuel pumps I am your man. Yes dont be put off.Glen. If you can afford it go for it. You will have fun. And with all the mods you shouldnt have to many problems. If S and S have packed in production of the x wedge I have a sneaky feeling that alll 3W,s iat some future point may well end up electric!!!!! The seconhand values of the internal combustion variety just might start to go up again !!!! I will hopefully be spotted on an oversized big red thing on two wheels. Will post pic as soon as delivered!!!

Went for Aston Martin traditional California sage green metallic. The red is dearker than expected but I like it. And guess what, the car has just been dispatched to Kentvale. Delivery on the 5th 😊

Brilliant, you'll still get some miles in, the weather can be kind in November! Ian

Velo's, Lotus Elan (had an SE in my youth which sadly had an affinity for lamposts) and Guzzi's (spares importer/distributor for 20 years)

Richard, I noticed your Velo 👍 The Elan is a fav and mint, hardly driven it yet. Which Guzzi dealer? I've always had a soft spot for Italian bikes. And the odd Hog 😊

and Guzzi's (spares importer/distributor for 20 years) Back in the 80s (when I had my wonderful Ducati Pantah 600) Bernie's Spares and repairs in Colliers Wood totally undercut the outrageous spares prices on Ducati and Moto Guzzi of official importers Coburn & Hughes to such an extent that C&H gave up on importing spares. Bernie's were absolutely brilliant. The only thing they failed to produce for me from stock was a front wheel, when I dinged one in a massive pothole on the Brompton Road. As the Campagnolo factory was closed for the summer I ended up getting it straightened by Alf Hagon's and then crack tested by a Ducati owner who was a BA engineer. I became quite good friends with Brett who seemed to run the caboodle at Bernie's.

Sorry to hear this Matty, if the Springfield doesn't work out you can always buy my M3W for £27000 😉 I'll even polish it and throw in all the mods.
We'll need to get out on the bikes too.
