I will just wipe it up, give the disks a wipe of Brakleen, and mention it at my 1000 mile service!

Yep...that's what I did. Mine was at the 4,000 though. My first miles were in the late winter and early spring... guess it was too cool out to heat up that grade. Once the temps hit the 90s it started emerging.

OMG the DUST!! all over seeping from the sides of the seats, from the top where the seatbelts come through, even a plume from the base of the roll hoop out onto the body. also the boot area at the back. I definitly need to read kens post about sealing the back again. You just convinced me to cancel my order for the new inner gender !

Well Ken, It's the 21st Century, and I support you, whatever you decide. Seriously, i still think the fender has merit.

i think it will keep a lot less water from splashing all over that area under the cover. also keeps debris from bouncing around against the fuel tanks, fuel lines, wiring... I went through some mud the other day, and it kept it all contained except for a little bit on the plate at back. I might put a rubber motorcycle mudflap at the back.

The rear tyre mudguard is a must IMO - it was the very first mod I did to my M3W
Otherwise the whole of the rear undertray area will be smothered in road spoil - or whatever you drive over/through!
I did think the Factory had one now as an option?
Or is it still in development?
There are various posts on here showing how I and others did the mod.
