Lawrie, on a side note, the wings look very well mounted. The wings of standard 4/4 look not so well mounted, they look lifted at the outer side. Nothing different, standard wing stays used.

Another thought, we all know that it is not easy to get fresh cold air to the intake system concerning a Trad Mog, whatever people think about it, it is difficult with the exception of side scoops for single TBs. Regions which are used often are underpressure regions. Concerning coolant radiators, could it be possible to design a radiator with a hole in the lower middle section to let come fresh air through it for the intake filter? (beside the electrical fan).

I think you need to start building another trophy cabinet! Well done Lawrie, Henry and all of Team Williams.

I would be interested to read a semi technical description of the car. What has been done to it compared to an ex factory machine, and for what reason?
Well done anyway.

Lawrie, on a side note, the wings look very well mounted. The wings of standard 4/4 look not so well mounted, they look lifted at the outer side. Heinz...I used to work at a radiator producer. A rad with a gap in it to allow some air through could be done BUT.... It would require a radical redesign. The gap would reduce the area for cooling engine coolant by the rad. Hence either larger rad area or more rows of tubes and different gills format to compensate. Also the flow through the rad would be interupted by the "hole". We used to make some one-off rads for weird and wonderful uses not just auto use.including refurbishing a core block for a Spitfire (plane), but nothing with a"hole". The hole is like putting an obstruction in front of the rad.. A bit like blanking off your rad for winter use to prevent too much cooling.

I think some old classics had a hole through the rad,for the starting handle to reach the crank pulley. Cant remember which cars.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.
