Get EMPIS 36mm rear axle wrench made for old VWs.

$16.36 on Amazon.com or £41.41 Amazon.co.uk

One of these should do the job

Just ordered this Sealey one. Not much more and it's a proper combination spanner.

Got a socket for the other side already smile

Ohlins, Sweden, wants 3033 punds for the set, including Swedish VAT. A bit too rich for me. Have asked why it is 800 punds more expensive here. No answer yet.

Hmmm, just a friendly question about the price got it down to just under 2600 pounds, including Swedish VAT (which is 25%, by the way).
Still a lot of money.

I need more descriptions on how they have changed/improved the ride, please!

I found that with the standard shocks the fronts were constantly hitting the end stops on bumpy roads taken at enthusiastic speeds so a lot of clattering from the front end of the car. The rear was a bit inclined to wallow on bumps in sweeping bends. After a while they were also inclined to fade and lose damping, presumably through over heating or maybe frothing of the oil inside.
With the Ohlins all of the above has gone; everything is much more tightly controlled but without actually being stiffer and "enthusiastic speeds" are now noticeably higher than before. The ride comfort over bumps of all sorts is dramatically improved but you are still unlikely to get half way to Helsinki before realising that you are in the Three Wheeler not the S-Class. With the standard or the Suplex shocks if you ran a front wheel along the cats eyes you would know all about it with lots of kicking and thumping through the steering and the seat, the first time I tried this with the Ohlins I thought I was missing the cats eyes they were having so little effect on the car, just a gentle movement of the steering wheel.
Confirmation bias having spent what to me is a bloody fortune on four shocks? Bound to be a bit, but they really are a major improvement.
And the springs are yellow! smile

I totally agree on how much better control Ohlin's gives the machine. The combo of the Empire control arms and the Ohlin's control of the up and down of those arms really makes the Morgan sweeter!
