Seems odd from my speculation that my engine number 77 (after T56 number followed by several zero's) is such a low number. Then The Original Ken's number 117 was completed last January? Could they be S&S numbers? Possibly but that seems even lower than production numbers.
Thanks for clarifying that difference. Perhaps your number 117 was the last of the 2015 numbered engines and then started over with a T and 001 for 2016. Just speculating and killing some time while waiting on production.

My car started production in 2015 and was supposed to be the last car completed in 2015. It got delayed by a few days...then came the Christmas break, and she finished on January 3rd or so, and got a 2016 VIN. I'm guessing you're right about my block number.

Anyone else planning a Factory Visit this week?
Yes S&S number. Mines stamped on the front of the block.

Yes letter prefix indicates the year of manufacture as defined by S & S. They missed out a few letters that might cause confusion with numbers, I,O,Q etc. The 117 CI X-Wedge manual gives the year codes starting with F for 2005 and to present with T for 2016.
