To me it looks pretty tacky and also - what's the point? It'll feed any impact straight through to the body and frame.

If it were a skid plate under the rear now that would make sense.

Still - each to his own and I do like the combined rear light/indicator smile

Reminds me of a dodgem car bumper lol

Each to their own - bumper looks period to me Lol.

Being double skinned I would have though it offered a degree of protection from gently reversing into things which I have nearly done a few times.
Obviously if you are rear ended , that is a different story and not much you can do it about should it happen.

When I went to the dealer last week for 1000 mile service there were two there they were trying to sell. One was ordered by someone who winters down south and it didn't arrive in time, so they were selling it and would order another one for the spring if they changed their mind. The other was ordered by a guy who said he'd lose weight to be able to comfortably drive it when he ordered it. Didn't lose the weight, put it up for sale with not too many miles on it.

I think some people must have far more throw-away money than I do.

Low mileage or no, I don't know that I'd pay that much for a 2012 with no upgrades.

Man, if a three wheeler can't motivate a guy to shed some pounds, I don't know what could. I guess I'm blessed, hell I might need a damn booster seat for it at 5'7 and right around 140. Seriously though I mean 5000 non refundable deposit, that's a good amount of scraping together for me.

More money than brains, a lot of it goes around.
