"The drive there and back was mad as lots of people look round to see where that delicious sound is coming from - to die for!"....or maybe they weren't all petrolheads and were looking around to see whose exhaust was broken and needed replacement?  A broken exhaust on a v8 still sounds brilliant !  Enough to awaken the dead but in a loving way . Similar sound really to a lemans corvette with straight through pipes !

That'll do me. Mine is quite loud with the Librands dual on it but I can't help wondering what it would sound like with the front silencers replaced with pipes...and then of course you would have to remove the pussies as well etc etc.. Sidepipes on my model is not a touring car sounds beautiful but too raw and they smell. Luckily my neighbours love even early in the morning run outs, so I feel lucky. This would be my ideal sound below on the Yellow AMG from 1.06 - 1.37 and bits later on. Mine sounds about the Green Jag level now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0ROIQKbwP8

Ha ha! My Plus 4 finally arrived on Thursday. So drove it immediately in a sunny gap between horrendous showers. Worth the 6 week wait.
1st thing to change is the plastic rear view mirror... filthy between the glass and mirror and the dipping mechanism causes sooo many stray reflections I can see bugger all.
Then car straight into garage, onto a plane and we're now in France. The new definition of frustration for the OED!
