Blimey Henry's Sport looks as if it's been on steroids compared to the Alfa unless it's the 1300cc one. The Alfa is a 2L GTV 105series That is serious porn - they are beautiful cars and I'm careful how many times I use that word, you lucky boy playing with that as well  .

What a cracking looking workshop - environmental health would give you 5 stars for food preparation in that area, very smart and tidy.

And very well equipped. Are those the development plus 8 exhaust manifolds on the bench?

Wow! Very impressed indeed. Can I ask you a question about the bandsaw? I have recently acquired a Starrett (Bandit 5) and am wondering what blade and speed I could use for steel, the bloke who sold it to me said the blade init was only ok for wood.

I have recently acquired a Starrett (Bandit 5) and am wondering what blade and speed I could use for steel I think I've answered my own question - 100 feet/minute for steel, and the min speed on my saw is 480 feet/minute, so if I want to cut steel I'll have to fit a speed reducer to the motor.

Get yourself a 14 TPI Raker cut M42 Tool steel blade, bed it in properly and it will last well cutting steel and most metals. I use around 500 ft/min on stainless and crank the speed up for aluminium and softer materials. My saw has a 1.1 kW motor in it and fully variable speed Simon @ SiFab.co.uk
