I received an email from a friend with a 2005 Roadster who has an engine light ON and needs help.
Has anyone come across this error code? P1450.
Morgan dealers are quite thin on the ground here.
Appreciate any help.

"Had my car checked out today
Replace evaporative emissions ( EVAP ) canister vent hose
Definition
Code P1450 indicates the engine running the PCM the PCM detected a control fault in the EVAP system
Error codes read
P1450 unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum
Thank you for everyone's support on this matter need to know what to do next"

That is a common problem with the carbon canisters. I have been told it is very important on cars fitted with such systems not to try to keep filling after the first automatic cut off. That, of course, assumes you don't have a filler neck that cuts off the fuel every 2 seconds when you are filling the tank.

I have no idea if that particular code comes up when the carbon canister has raw fuel in it. Someone will probably come along soon who has had this problem.

I had this problem two times with my 2005 Roadster. Exactly what Gambalunga says, it is caused by overfilling the tank. Usually if you delete the error codes it will not return, until you overfill it again. Nothing really to worry about.
