On my Cosworth Duratec the temperature has always been around 75c. when moving, from new, going up to around or just over 100 when in traffic. I've given up worrying that it's too low, and assume it is within tolerences.

2002 plus8.
Summer running at 85-90 ish with rises to 95 when the fan kicks in, mainly in slow traffic or after a good run and heatsoak triggers the fans.
Wintertime it runs at 80 with occasional higher spells.
No overheating occurs at all as the fan works well if a bit noisy.
I have an Al rad -Morgan version according to previous owner file showing fitting.
I am looking at extra air ducting for summer use but not convinced as the higher temp for fan activation tends to happen at slow speed/stationary so no real benefits to be gained. Maybe simply fitting bonnet rear extender catches might help.

Some slightly conflicting feedback but the general conscious seems to suggest 80/90* is normal and any change due to ambient temperature.

I'll keep an eye on it, not that the cars going to get miuch if any use now the weathers turned
