The nearside door on my 2004 Roadster doesn't close as tightly as the offside door leading to a gap at the trailing edge (navigator not happy). Is there any adjustment on the doors and locks or am i just stuck with it? I don't want to just fiddle and only make it worse. Maybe there is a procedure to follow. Any help out there?

Not sure if it's the same as my later plus 4, if so the catch on the B post/ frame is adjustable. I slackened the two bolts just enough to be able to move it in a tad, just tapped in by a bit of of wood and a hammer.

Nip them and try the door again before tightening fully.

There is movement up and down as well as in and out so try not to lose the starting point or you'll end up fiddling a while to get it right.

Not sure I've explained it very well!

That's exactly right. I watched them doing the very same at the Factory yesterday.

Don't make it close too tight or the door can rub the paint on the tub.
