Interested in Aeroscreens for my 2014 4/4 for next year.. Anybody got info on this German conversion kit for late model classics please?

Just take the windscreen off and bolt the whole assembly on to the windscreen supports

Except that 2014 cars don't have the plinths! Cast windscreen frames sadly.

Except that 2014 cars don't have the plinths! Cast windscreen frames sadly. Oh yes of course Still a great idea for earlier cars though - saves drilling into the scuttle for the aeroscreen feet and the dash mounted mirror

I am getting together the necessary bits and pieces to build one of these but without the aluminium sheet deflectors. As a personal thing I don't like the folding screens for myself although they are more practical in weather. I intend to remove the screen and wipers for the summer and put the alloy bar on which are mounted the Aeroscreens and internal mirror. This was to happen this year but I am retired  and the demands of grandchildren beckoned this year + a new one born by emergency C section. We have been across in Cambridge or Kings Hill in Kent for a fair bit of the year. Heathers Mum is in a rest home and they are a fair commitment done properly. The rest of the leisure time is spent driving the car.

Gosh it's expensive at € 1890 but I think if I had known about it before I fitted my folding windscreen and aeroscreen (2nd aeroscreen still broken awaiting its new glass) I think I might have been sorely tempted as it just looks great and it's quite easy to take the windscreen off, even the heated one on mine -just put an electrical connector on the wires and bobs your uncle

Tell you what Rich those Morgan Park dudes do some cracking looking stuff Just been surfing their site looking at the gear They have put a folding windscreen and two classic aeroscreens on a recent Plus 8 Speedster !!!

I hadn't noticed that Stewart must have a proper look around their site again. They have some quality gear on there I know - you have to keep your hands in your pockets though.
