I bought these wires on Ebay, then had them stripped (they were painted blue!) and pained black. Fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres, that took me 5 hours to paint the letters white!

Very nice, what size wheels and tyres have you put on ?

Is it just a straight swap of wheels ?

Only asking as I have a 1999 model with centre locks and have considered putting wires on.

That looks like an ex viper car to me.

They came off a 98 +8, so straight swap... 205 55 16 same as my alloys.

So do the alloys fit on splined hubs then, unlike the Aero?
Very nice but I'm afraid I prefer the alloys. Each to his own!
I presume the alloys are like hens teeth to obtain as well.
Cheers!

I have a nice set of alloys (Bolt On). Took them off of a 2005 Roadster who's owner wanted wires. Big Problem (shipping) as I live in Seattle USA

The Morgan lightweight alloys centre lock have standard splined fitment whereas the Aero is peg drive as Simon said on a thread the other day.

I have no knowledge of Aero's whatsoever.

They sure are like hens teeth but prettier.

So do I! Although looking at the car this morning, the black wires are growing on me. Nice to have both so I can swap them round when I fancy a change.
