Hi, has anyone owned/used the 'Oldtimer Tools' spinner removal tool and torque wrench? The cost is as eye-watering as hitting your finger with a copperhead hammer! but I can't find an alternative for a three-eared spinner. Thank you in advance. Paul

I bought a plywood two eared tool and I don't like it so I went back to hitting it with a rawhide hammer.

Hi Paul, I have one of the celebrated, eye wateringly expensive "Oldtimer" spinner removal tools, mine is for the 2-eared spinners. I didn't go for the torque wrench, just their very long ratchet. The whole thing is very good indeed, beautifully made and a very good fit. I was lucky in that I bought it when the Euro was 1.42 to the £.

Whereabouts in Kent are you? A meet might be possible for you to inspect their wares.

Hi Alistair,

A meet would be fun. I'm in Goudhurst, near TW. Are you going to the BHM Christmas do? Paul

Not very subtle but I have a wooden mallet which I hit with a lump hammer. Works a treat and doesn't damage the spinner. Have gone through two mallets though in 14 years.
