Once the vehicles are here and registered locally, they can stay exactly as they are. Just wondering, what will happen to the Morgans already being used quite legally at present, will they have to be modified? or will they be allowed to be used.

That's a bummer, moving permanently to Australia early next year and was hoping to get another 4 wheeler. Now have to think if it is possible to bring my current 4/4 and see if I will be able to use it. SwissMog, Depending on which side of the country you are coming too, there are always several nice four wheelers for sale ( Price may shock you though). I have a very nice 1988 4/4 4 seater I may look at selling early next year. Apparently according to two Morgan's is not allowed

This sort of legislation is the desease of democracy. Politicians are supposed to represent the people not control them - otherwise it's another form of government. Happening all over the civilised world at the moment.

Happening all over the civilised world at the moment. It's all just displacement activity. Instead of getting on and tackling the real problems that face society, such as getting the economy moving, addressing the unemployment issue, providing affordable housing & so on (which are all too much like hard work), they pass a load of laws, usually banning stuff or restricting people's freedoms, as it gives an impression that they are actually doing something.

GREAT NEWS Panic over... Australian Morgan 3 Wheeler: Ongoing availability confirmed
Australian Morgan 3 Wheeler: Ongoing availability confirmed
Morgan Cars Australia recently issued a press release announcing last orders for the Morgan 3 Wheeler due to planned changes to the Australian Design Rules (ADRs).
In response to this press release the Department of Transport in Canberra has reacted promptly to concerns expressed by ourselves, the press and motoring enthusiasts. Following an additional submission, and with the assistance of the Department in Canberra, we are pleased to confirm that the approval for the Morgan 3 Wheeler has been updated and this unique vehicle will now be available for sale into the foreseeable future.
We would like to thank members of the Press, Morgan owners, motoring enthusiasts and the Department of Transport for their combined support on this issue.

- No "classic" 4 wheeler sales from 1st Nov. Morgan are offering further test that may lift this ban in the future.
Good news indeed. But the Trads???

That is great news. Now we need an open invitation to Trump to visit the Morgan factory to get him to realise what a great small low volume motor manufacturer Morgan are, suitable to be imported into America for their enthusiasts.

@Ian/Wirewheel
Trump ist planning to cancel international trade agreements to protect the "home market". Maybe he is not the best supporter for Morgan imports to US. But maybe Putin is interested on better trade relationships... (a few percent commission payments to special friends may help the business)
