Yes a perfect winter day. 43 miles with MrsW out towards Retford then up the old A1 to Bawtry then via Tickhill home. Very quiet on the road today. Excellent run out.

Glorious sunny day, so a run to Berrybrook where they undid an extremely tight wheel spinner for me. Back via Toolstation on Marsh Barton to buy my own "dead blow" hammer. (Had a bit of fun following a +4 GDi, who tried hard but couldn't get away from Stanley!!) Saw a nice red MGA in Topsham and a lady in a silver Z3, both hood down; both waved. Quick wash over with a bucket of warm water when I got home. 4/4 now tucked in the garage under its covers and I'm drinking tea.

Yup. Just come home after collecting HT11 from Williams after having a gearbox mount replaced. Excellent service from the Williams team, thank you Tony and Lindon, then a lovely drive home through the Cotswolds-car gleaming after a super clean from Williams's .. Hopefully off to theVSCC driving tests at Bicester on Saturday. Weather permitting top -down ! Harry and Steve.

But too cold for a run!!And all my roads are salted I'm always in two minds about either leaving a car for months unattended (other than a trickle charge) or starting and warming up every now and again. I have tended to do the former without any issues, but am never sure which is best.
