Have you had it dyno tested? What are the hp/torque gains for each stage?

Also, what's your new top speed?

I'd imagine negligible difference there. Changing the motor doesn't change the transmission or bevel box gearing. It would just be quicker to get to speed, unless he did something to get it up to a decent higher rev range, which I don't imagine is the case.

Just the seat of my pants dyno so far!

I'm not interested in speed over 90mph with a wheel missing ;-)

I'm looking to get the top speed up to 160 or so. From what I can tell the Miata transmission can go up that high, but the bevel box may need some tuning and/or replacing

160 kilometers not 160 mph right?

160 mph would scare the crap out of me!

160 kilometers is 99 miles per hour which is easily possible with a stock machine.

to hit 160 mph you really will need the higher revs so the roller rockers kit could help will that.

Bet the ol bevel box be howling at that speed!! Done 115mph indicated was ok! Recon 125mph about as fast as i want to go. Properly (always room for change when behind the wheel ! drive)

110mph easily achievable but wouldn't want to go any quicker without stabilisers!!!

I would just like to get there quicker now and again especially running 2 up as that dents the performance no end.

BTW cheapest performance upgrade, I lost 2 stone (28 pounds) for the US readers.

It now accelerates and brakes quicker.
