Very cool Falcon project JV.

I had a '60 Mercury Comet back in the day with the 200ci straight 6 and three on the tree. It was just a beater car, but it got me around.

I bought a '62 Impala SS 409/409 4spd in '69 for $220 and it had the 409 out and a 283 installed. It ran good, but looking back now, as a 409/409 it would be worth more than a M3W. Oh well. In those days I had to sell to get another, so none of my "keepers" could be kept.

But the '62 mid motor changes, I installed a 235ci straight 6 with the 4spd behind it. I put an Offenhauser dual single barrel intake on it with Fenton dual exhaust. It actually ran very well and had a very unique sound to it.

Very nice ! I was pondering mirrors for some time . Possible beauty’s might be remake Porsche 550 side mirrors . They curve and fit body curve . Small aluminum housing typically hand hammered /shaped . Kinda generic mirror /guts . Really like your black ones . Please tell me you cars color ? I’ve been searching for my orange 🍊 metallic burnt terracotta color for years ! Help I even have the color code right on firewall . Crazy . I’m looking to definitely confirm name . I’ve bought a Morgan (paint used in past )California orange paint touch up kit from a giant paint company in Europe . Primo company . But it was California orange 🍊?

Ps I run a “ Fat man convex small aluminum rear view mirror with threaded epoxy base to wind pillar . Up high . Added a slick billet anti vibration extension . The fat man hot rod mirrors are fabulous . You can get flat mirror or convex .
