Yesterday I received a nice surprise from my dealer....it was a photo of my car in the final stages of the PDI in Malvern. It is going to be leaving the factory early next week for Heathrow, on its way to the US!

I was pretty psyched to see this photo....can't wait to see it in person!

Its hard to tell but does it still have the Dzeus fasteners on the cowl beside the spring clips? A pity they did not fit black leather for the boot fasteners. You can now get your driving gear, goggles, ear plugs etc all together ready to go collect it.

Tom, beautiful in every detail - you've clearly given the spec a lot of thought. Enjoy the last bit of the anticipation.

My dealer told me that boot fastener and leather instrument panel trim was a no cost option to have in black (tan spec'd elsewhere). Unfortunately there was confusion between dealer and factory when I asked if black armrests could also be included at no cost, and I got hit for a two tone leather surcharge doh

Great looking car Tom thumbs

I actually prefer the boot fastener in tan instead of black. It matches more closely with my Yarwood Honey interior.

Tim do you have a photo you can share of your two-tone leather interior? What was the upcharge for that option?

At first my tan strap bothered me, now not so much. I think the contrast just draws your eye to another of the unique features of the car. It looks like they got your stripes right the first time! That is excellent because mine took a couple of tries

I think you might be referring to my car Tom. The unexpected extra, effectively for the black armrests, since I expected to deposit mud on them at some point wink was ยฃ175 + 20% tax.
