I got my ARP4 from Krazyhorse in March and in the main I'm getting to like it. It's got a few idiosyncrasies which I can live with but it's positive aspects are many. It's beautifully finished and fairly quiet with the hood up. The additional soundproofing really works. The rear suspension is just about perfect, much better than my previous 07 +4. I like the power steering. I understand it's a Morgan electric system but they seem to have got it right. You get used to the exhaust noise after a while and some of my Morgan friends say they like the sound and they know it's me before they see the car! It's very fast! I was doing 95mph a little while ago on the M5 before I noticed but the car is inherently stable, must be the suspension and the extremely wide tyres. I would like to hear from other ARP4 owners and to hear their impressions of the car Also have any owners got their handbrake working properly and if so how.

Good to read your feedback, Eddie..!
I seem to remember some blurb about the ARP4 having the seat further back due to a lack of leaf springs, but is this the case in reality? I've never had the opportunity to sit in one..

Eddie , thats a long way to fetch your iconic ARP4 ! Only down the road from me ! Have been to Crazy Horse recently and was impressed by their hands on attitude to fixing broken things and the people who are involved in Morgans there . Any pictures of your ARP4 on here would be a delight to everyone as they are so special ! Did have a passenger ride in one at the factory , fantastic !

Steve and Madmax, Good to hear from you both. I'm only 5' 9" so the seating is adequate for me. Yes I think there is more room without the leaf springs. The box section behind the seats is smaller and the seats can be set further back. One of the reasons I bought the ARP4 was because of my wife. She had a prothetic leg and couldn't sit comfortably in my +4. She found the ARP4 better and had a few trips in it. I live a long way from Krazyhorse all of 220 miles and I ordered mine after reading accounts in the Morgan press. I had never seen one in the flesh or tried one for that matter. Stuart at Krazyhorse arranged delivery and it arrived in a covered box section trailer. Have never been to Krazyhorse but I would like to. Stuart was most helpful and is a very friendly guy.

Eddie ,our ARP4 (AR 4) is fantastic to drive.....and to see ( for me,and Inge,my wife ) .Love the music he is making (never used the radio ) and indeed, the suspension is very good . Less place on the back of the seats. We call our plus 8 "the SW " (station wagon) because so much more room in the back .And also less place than in the 4/4. I have fixed the handbrake but that is a lot to explain and need some pics. I also placed an sump protector and afther reading about the Miata Roadster short shifter ( one of the topics there ) I have ordered and placed one . We have the AR since 17 April and have 9800 km . Still 100% fun. Stefan 4/4 AR 4 +8

Stefan, Nice to hear from you and pleased to hear you are enjoying your ARP4 also. I have spent the last 1 1/2 hours trying to upload pictures into the photo gallery but to no avail. I give up! Is there any way you can explain the handbrake fix ? Regards, Eddie.

Eddie, I have pics about the handbrake and what I have done. If you send your tel nr (in PM) I will phone you and send the pics and do the explanation. I think I is to much and to difficult to write for me.

Hi there I'm still absolutely loving my ARP4 (Morag - the name of Nessie like creature in Loch Morar). Never mind hard core, I managed to get my wife who is disabled and a walking frame into her with the roof up a few weeks ago (pic on the Morgan Live board) Mark Evans at MMC sorted out my handbrake with his fix number 1 or 2 - it has worked well since. I'm sure I have shared these before but this link is to some pictures of a driving school day at Shelsley in Morag - thoroughly recommended day. http://bit.ly/2htVGr3
