3 weeks ago on a long weekend with sunshine but cold temperatures I have finished my dashboard project
It started beginning of this Year when I found an dashboard for the leather version on TM sales.
The old owner had removed the leather, so it was perfect to built a wooden dashboard on my own as a replacement
for my original sport grey version.
First of all I had to close the hole for the clock on the driver’s side and then I have to build the glove box cover.
Took around 2-3 weekends by getting the right wood parts from our local do-it-yourself-store.
After this had finished, I began the journey on Google to find the right hinges and veneer.

Because I love the real wooden characteristic I decided that the wood only get some light protection against finger prints
and dirt by a paint in dull finish and I found a lovely veneer called "Zirikote". Now you could feel the structure of the wood
by your fingertips, when moving over the veneer.
To see now the final result is very impressive

But now the Moto Lita seems to have the wrong color
