I wonder if the potential health and safety issues have put a stop to Thrill on the Hill? Some people were treating it as though it was a race and after the crash in 2015 and the helmet requirement this year, the writing may have been on the wall.
As far as prices for next years event... it may seem expensive but then so are some events held at Prescott etc. A day out at the recent Classic Car Show at the NEC wasn't exactly cheap once parking was factored in.
It's also a joint event with the MSCC.....I don't see anyone complaining about the Club charging such prices!

Got to agree Steve, I did enjoy the Thrill on the Hill events, I had the impression that the factory craft folk enjoyed them too. I will go to the this event it will be the first "MOG" for me. I enjoyed the two times that we went to the Thrill on the Hill but I enjoyed Caramulo more. I'm very sorry I was not able to join Wild Mogs this year but Caramulo is where I expect to be next year

Would normally have booked a weekend, but just booked Saturday.
The compulsory inclusive concert on Sunday is making it prohibitively expensive for those just wanting to spend an hour or two in the morning or afternoon.

[quote=Jays] In my experience, the MSCC pricing for its MOG events has always been kept low and therefore offered great value; I can't say that for the MOG09 event at Cheltenham. However, despite not intending being there personally, I hope that the event is a success for Morgan, MSCC and all enthusiasts attending it. My absence, I have no doubt, will make not an iota of difference!

Im looking forward to it ..Hotel booked ,weekend booked and Dinner booked .Just need the weather to be kind . Yes it seems a bit OTT on price but it may turn out be great value. I wont know that until after the event. Ive only done one MSCC event at Canterbury and that was awful. So with factory involvement I hope its as good as Thrill on the Hill .

I don't think the price is that bad for an event that needs this level of commitment. That does not make it cheap in real terms but I think it makes it cheap in relative terms. I am guessing that they are subsidising it this at this price.
Try buying a ticket to a lead football team to get 3 hours of overpriced snacks and advertisements. Wimbledon tickets. A couple of tickets for a west end play costs a lot more than that. Good grief try taking two people for a new release film at the cinema.
You can choose if you need the extras so at least it is optional unlike some events.
Running an event of this size would divert a lot of people at the factory for a serious amount of time. I am glad they made the big decision to concentrate the staff on doing car stuff. I agree the hillclimb was great to attend.
I hope we can go. I believe we will make it.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
