Walnut takes some beating , fantastic dash ! Yes I have a love of a well figured wood veneer, but believe it or not it is not Burr Walnut it is in fact Burr Oak which is a fraction lighter in appearance

That's superb, really classy.
How did you implement the warning lamps? The warning lights incorporated in the Morgan badge really is an inspiration  Superb work and the burr oak an inspired choice in my view. There are some lovely detail touches and I like the glovebox latch in particular. I'd be interested in where you sourced that.

Fabulolous job, well done!
I had 4/4 with a comparable lay out to your ortiginal one, remember that the warninglight cluster lights were faint. Your winged cluster looks the part.

An amazing piece of veneer. It looks just fantastic. Don't forget to post a photo in the "sticky" topic Traditional Morgan Dashboards [Photos] when you have installed it. Amazing job, pity you don't hide the hinge it will be nicer in my eyes Hiding the hinge is very difficult on wooden dashboards. It would require some special type of hinge.

Chester.G, with regard to the hinges being hidden, it's as Peter had commented hidden hinges do not seem to be available for small flush mounting doors. I have tried to source suitable hinges as I had intended using them in combination with a push release catch for the glove box door, but it's as a friend had commented" it would leave almost 50% of the Dashboard featureless and out of balance" and in truth looking at the finished item I must agree. Jays, with regard to you question regarding the Latch, I purchased that from http://onestop-locks.com/quarter-turn-la...stance-559.html however I did have to modify the latch to make it suitable for this application. If it is your intention to use the latch similarly, then I would happily modify it for you, depending on the thickness of the door

I have posted these images at the request of Stewart S who wished for a update on the progress of the project.
