Is it Santa? He's barely recognisable without the beard, but he's forgotten to change his trousers.

And always Jochen wears his red trousers Met him 2 years ago at the Oldtimer show in Stuttgart, Germany. And he is always opened for some words about cars and stories from the past Hope that you changed some words about Morgan

He was rather taken aback when I introduced myself by saying that the last time we met was in 1978 when he drove me around Silverstone in a Porsche 935 and that he had not seemed to notice that it was raining heavily.
Then I added, "...and my brother is a friend of yours." He was completely bewildered for a few seconds and then I explained. And then we got on very well. Jolly fine fellow.
Yes, we discussed Morgans at some length and he is, as might be expected, very knowledgeable. He strongly approved of my choice of a 4/4.

Cool! Last time I saw him was at Goodwood - he'd just had a nasty shunt with a vintage Jaguar.

He was in the Mercedes, exiting the chicane at speed, and he crashed into the back of a Lister Knobbly that was slowing to enter the pits.
That part of Goodwood in particular is very hazardous. It would be far safer if the pit entry could be before the chicane, where it would be off the racing line. But they would have to demolish a hangar belonging to Goodwood Aircraft Engineering for that to be possible...

Chatter at the time suggested that the Jaguar hadn't given sufficient warning that he was going to enter the pits - causing the accident. I'd be interested in your read of it Peter. Apologies for thread drift!
