My first boyhood love before the 60's E type was for the MG TF, ideally 1500. Last year my 20 year old Josh and I hired a 15 year old Morgan plus 4 to attend the MG collectors world at Silvestone. My first impression was NOT good. Everything rattled combined with "stiff" unyielding suspension capped with equally stiff steering. With such an experiance one may with some justification question my decision making faculties when one bone chilling day in December in Andover (half way between the dealer and my Wimbledon home) I took charge of my very own very very expensive low mileage (3750)Black with red leather Morgan Roadster!!!--My wife calls it a mid life crisis--and asks me why I could not get a mistress like any other sensible chap--she says it would be cheaper--but NOW with my shiny new Roadster I might be able to get BOTH!!!!

but NOW with my shiny new Roadster I might be able to get BOTH!!!! Admirable sentiments! regards, G PS my only slight disagreement would be that- oil wells permitting- I'd have gone for a K3 Magnette instead of the TF

Welcome to the forum David There is nothing better and sweeter than something you can own and ride. (in both cases). The borrowed ones always 'rattle & squeak' well into the relationship. You must have heard of 'High Maintenance' 'Wossy' Has, or had, a Black Roadster with Red Trim???

David, Good to see you posting, now that we've got your name sorted! When you have some time, please post some photos of your new Morgan. If you need help with that, you can always e-mail them to me or if you'd like to do it yourself, there is an FAQ here . Congratulations and welcome to the site.

Welcome, and well done David.
I have owned A11OGE for 5 years, and the smile has never left my face.
Enjoy.
