Kevin
Had a look at my drive belt side Ohlins rear shock and hauled out the top spacers to measure them (The bottom spacers are more of a pain to get out and back in)
With the spacers fitted as shown in the photos to move the shock away from the belt I have 5mm clearance minimum from the spring to the fuel tank and on the belt side I actually have 5mm clearance also, this time from the spring seat to the belt, albeit with the belt pushed up the way slightly so effectively I have slightly more clearance than the 5mm but it's a bit awkward to measure consistently. I appear to have a total of 37.9mm of spacers and shock top bush between two brackets that are 37.7mm apart but the brackets aren't very parallel so difficult to get things exact but it is a nice snug fit. The bottom brackets are slightly wider apart than the tops on my machine.
Remember I do have a 2012 swing arm, 2014 hub and sprocket, 2015 chassis (but without the bevel box rubber mountings) and 2015 fuel tanks...there may be another one out there that is the same but...
Hope this helps.
Calum

Yes, I changed the washer size to move the shock over away from the belt.

Hi guys, those springs look different, or is it just my imagination.

Is it my misreading or are you guys spending mega bucks on Ohlins and then grinding bits off, returning them for warranty work and changing springs out?😜

JVS certainly had one that needed warranty work which I believe was done quickly and without question. I had a bit of toing and froing to get the top hat spacers just right (not helped by Morgan having some strange mis-matches between the mounting brackets and the standard shock bushes) which was again done quickly and without question. This included finding that the left shock at the back needed offset spacers to step it away from the drive belt, I simply ran one Ohlins and one standard shock at the back for a few days till the freshly machined spacers arrived (probably best not to try this on a four wheeled car!). My contact with the UK supplier, BG Motorsport, was entirely by email and phone so they never actually had the opportunity to offer them up to the car themselves to find the clearance issues at the drive belt.
Spring rates on mine are fine.

Everything with Morgan's is trail by error :-)

Ohlin's first out of the box ideas in shock and springs is a VAST improvement over Suplex package. Owners testing will only help find-tune this best shock handling setup even farther.

Since Ohlin's never bought a M3W to do any testing on, it would be up to owners looking for something better doing all the grunt work in finding better handling solutions. I for one love mixing it up to find something better so investing time/money in making my toy better in my mind is what makes me happy.

My new focus is on a whole new idea (plan B) about the driving lights/blinkers coming together in about a month.
Since my front license plate has been removed for the Ultra Oil Cooler.
