Great drive yesterday, making the most of the dry, cold weather. Only problem, which spoilt it a bit, came from a little graunch on the front near side alloy. banghead Fairly minor, and hardly noticeable, but I guess I'd better get it fixed. Anyone know a good place to get it done in Bristol/South Glos?

Late this afternoon I thought I should give my and the wife's tintops their three monthly wash and get some of the layers of mud off. Living on a building site it's not worth washing more frequently.
Then saw the Aero peeping out at me as it started to get dark. She was definitely telling me something.
The salt had been washed off the roads by yesterday's downpour, and had dried. The sun had set.
"Get your keys out, you lazy git", I heard someone say, so I dutifully nipped back into the house, then back to the garage, disconnected the charger, turned the key, and went for one of those beautiful, pointless drives just for the sheer pleasure of being able to do so. Perfect! Just could never SORN in winter. ooo She would never let me.

Answering for Saturday - YES

The shady side of the hill was rather slippery and through the corners you could feel the back end grip/slide on the throttle. It felt wonderful to be out driving it again

Asbo - we need some more photos of the green-mean-machine. Is it away for winter or will it be available for shots ?

Had the S1 in for a wee tidy ... new headlights ... they were misting a bit, and a good tidy of the paintwork.

Now looking stunning and great to have a drive to and from work today 🤓

While no salt on the roads they were really mucky and it was slightly distressing to get splatters on the nice shiny paintwork. Back into the garage for me to decide the extent of winter running ...

120 mile round trip to Worcester today. Had to take the Aero as family had taken all the tintops. Thanks! Great excuse to have a longish drive.
Sunny, very cold, a bit of salt around, so gave the car a good clean on return, but oh, what fun! Only problem was the light spray on the windscreen, which the wipers do have trouble clearing it. Fortunately I could still see after 60 miles, so just had to wipe before the return journey, but I need to do some adjustments to the wiper arms. love
