I'm getting the feeling the M3W is very much an occasional or 3rd car, were the 4/4 is definately a 2nd car for me.
That's a good way to put it. I love the 3 wheelers, they are an absolute hoot to drive, but I can't honestly see that there would be that many occasions in which I would use it in preference to the 4/4. Guess that's why Baskin Robbins makes 31 flavors because I wouldn't trade my M3W for any M4W.

I think machines come from the heart, in all honesty what some people love others dont, you have to make your own mind by driving and experiencing an M3W, yes others offer different drives but they are different cars so you cant compare, so drive one and make your own mind up surely is the best solution?

I'm getting the feeling the M3W is very much an occasional or 3rd car... Good point. By the same token, if you had a bike, would it be an occasional use vehicle or a 2nd car? I think I would answer that the same way for a bike or M3w. For me it's an occasional use vehicle, and that's what makes it "practical"!

With sufficient garage space (that old excuse) I would have a M3W alongside my 4/4. Both wonderful and to be enjoyed.

A DB9 has appeared round the corner from us. It's far too wide to go down the drive so it sits on the front garden. It's block paved. And it never seems to move. Metallic white with red calipers.
So he didn't bother about garage space. I feel ashamed........

I wouldn't trade my M3W for any M4W. Yes, I think that if I had been in the position of not owning a Morgan when the M3W came out, I would have bought one and been very happy with it indeed. But I've owned my 4/4 for 16 years now and there's no way I'm getting rid of it, so an M3W would be an addition rather than a replacement. In terms of miles covered, the majority of my Morganeering is either commuting to work or going on holiday, neither of which I can see me preferring to use a 3 wheeler for, especially not in wet weather. But for summer weekend blasts around the back roads, I can see they offer an experience you simply wouldn't get with anything else. I still hanker after one, but it's a lot of money to spend on something I would probably use for less than 500 miles a year.

So he didn't bother about garage space. I feel ashamed........ The guy renting our cottage next door to us is qute happy parking his Maserati GT outside without a garage. Later this year he plans replacing it with a DB11. Quite enjoy heaing the Masi start up in the mornings, he says the DB11 is even better...

Quite enjoy hearing the Masi start up in the mornings, he says the DB11 is even better... ... fortunately if it's too noisy for you and the neighbours, he only has to hold the starter button down for 2 seconds more and it will start without the fireworks and theatre..... A useful feature I suspect when trying to sneak away unnoticed at Sparrow-fart occasionally....
