I agree, it's strange. I have no conditioner on mine, and the most it's been left is about three weeks but it started fine so until it struggles I'm leaving alone!

Some have clocks fitted that drain the battery or the ignition immobilizer maybe.

Or it could be an earth leak. We had a VW Golf that discharge through a faulty courtesy light switch.

Mine is most definitely the dash module circuitry, I even disconnected the instruments, something either on the circuit card at the dash or the black conversion module in the ECU housing.

Quite easy for me to pull fuse 17 (that's the one in my Roadster).

100's of milli-amps are drawn across that fuse when the car is off.

Which is significant.

Sounds as if you need a secondary "power switch" on the dash to turn off the feed to Fuse 17!

But seriously, why should the dash module need to be powered when the ignition is off? Is it something to do with the immobiliser? Very odd indeed.

All the Aeros have a master switch on the "computer box" that turns everything, and I mean everything, in the computer box off.

I have just contacted Caerbont.

If I can get to the bottom of my issue I'll be sure to let you folks know.

Just fitted new battery (not banner but lion exide) and put it straight on trickle charge. Hope this will cure the issue otherwise I may look at a battery cut out switch.
