Wow again so much valuable feedback, many thanks to all of you!

I would say the price seems in line with the Belgian/German/French market. The fact is that you're really lucky in the UK I would say.

As Richard said, the car has already lots of nice extras, making it quite attractive to me.
But that certainly doesn't mean I should not negotiate a bit, especially considering that it's sitting there for more than a year now.

Thank you for the heads up on the dealer Karsten, I was totally not aware about him selling repaired cars. What I know so far is that the car has 2 previous owners and that it has been "well maintained" by Flaving in Germany. Might be good to check with them as well.

I'll definitely contact Henry at Williams to see what's possible for some of the cars he has currently in stock. He already gave me a few tips a year ago, very nice guy.

Interesting perspective Dirk, although I must admit changing gear with my left hand seems very counter intuitive to me (sorry for the British folks).

As for the Revival Richard, definitely we should meet up!

NB: black is all colours together if you see it from a pigment perspective.

The 4/4 is a great starting point but check for sagging rear springs and body separation around the cowls

Jules, Welcome to the wonderful world of Morgan. I have a 2011 +4 Sports that looks identical to this car apart from the luggage rack.

Mine is a 2 litre Duratec and of course RHD.

The Sports label ,means that you get a more basic car, but pay more for it from new.

No Spare Tyre,
No Bumpers
Painted Dash
Black wires
No easy up top.

This does have a few extras on it as everyone has commented. Mileage is irrelevant in my book, I have a 1988 4/4 with 99,950km on it and my 2011 +4 has 11,500.

Price wise, it is still cheaper than you would pay in Australia.

I know that everybody on here loves Williams, and rightly so, but may I suggest that it would be worth talking to Brands Hatch Morgan. They would be a lot more convenient for Brussels, being very handy for Dover or the tunnel. They provide excellent service too; the fact that Dave W drives all the way from Yorkshire to go there should be reference enough !!

And the very to keep looking clean. However, looks stunning when done correctly
While a bit on the pricey side, Williams should provide good service and a thorough vehicle pre-delivery check.
The poor £ Sterling exchange rate at present will help with the cost.

If you go for it and decide you need a spare wheel/tyre, there is one resting at the back of my garage. It belonged to another 4/4 Sport, the owner is a regular here...

Hi Jules, I definitely go along with Pandy's recommendation re Brands Hatch Morgans, we bought our 4/4 from them back in 2004 and they've looked after it diligently ever since, lovely people and they already have several customers in Belgium, France and further afield, so they are familiar with export formalities. Best of luck anyway, maybe see you at Chantilly Arts & Elegance in September?

I wouldn't travel to Kent without good reason. From Belgium, Brands Hatch Morgans is the obvious choice. And very nice people.

One happy customer to confirm that. BTW they love Belgian chocolats! (who doesn't?)

Happy memories of Belgian chocolates! Back in the 80s/90s, I frequently had to go to Antwerp on business, no trip was complete without a visit to Del Reys in the Appelmanstraat, I can smell that shop now, must go back soon!
