I just put a deposit down to build a 2017 Morgan 3 Wheeler. Can't decided if heated seats are a must or just a complete waste of money. I am in the United States in Massachusetts and currently use my Lotus Elise from early April through late November. The M3W will be another toy in the garage with the Lotus. I'm curious what other M3W owners would recommend regarding heated seats. Should I include them in my M3W or leave them out?

Welcome, I don't have mine yet, and while I'm down here in Texas, they're on my build list. They aren't absurdly priced and while I won't need them most times of the year, those times that I do I'll be happy to have them.
If it were a £1000 option, I could see being a bit hesitant, but as a relatively mild priced add on it seems like one of those must haves.
I had heated seats in my volvo wagon, drivers side seat was in horrible shape, and the only replacement I could find didn't have the heated option. I figured "well I can do without that." little did I know. I'm probably a wuss, but me down here in Texas feeling that. I'd imagine you would be quite happy to have them there in Mass.

Let's put things in perspective: My Honda Goldwing had heated seats and I very rarely used that gimmick - but the few times I did I loved the option to switch them on. I have no heated seats in my 3Wheeler and I have not missed them yet.
But a Honda is a Honda and a Morgan may be more senible when it comes to Murphy's law: what can go wrong will go wrong (therefore no heated seats draining battery and rectifier)

Waste of time IMHO. If you venture out in the cold in the M3W you will need to be wrapped up so well anyway any local heating will be unnecessary.
We have heated seats in our Mini. The seat gets insanely hot in under a minute and even on lowest setting are uncomfortable to leave on.

I use heated jackets from Keiss they keep you warm where you need it, around your torso. Cheaper than heated seats as well.

If you venture out in the cold in the M3W you will need to be wrapped up so well anyway Yes, it might be better to invest in a heated vest/waistcoat to go under the jacket, maybe?

I just put a deposit down to build a 2017 Morgan 3 Wheeler. Can't decided if heated seats are a must or just a complete waste of money. ... I find the switches too far back and easy to accidentally turn on. I associate a hot bum with sitting on something on fire so causes some anxiety for a second or too! Find I don't need a hot bum... On the other hand my wife loves a warm seat so overall good value for me !

The latest Keiss jackets are amazing - as RogG has said.
We used them in our M3W - together with heated Keiss Gloves which attach to the jacket.
But having said that Heated seats are great too!!
We have them in the Roadster and use them all the time - even early summer morning starts can be cold!!And with Keiss Kit!!
Cosy!!!
