Well, I've had a lovely couple of hours out in mine today..! Went across to Wellesbourne to meet up with Wirewheel & Roadster Boy as the day was overcast, a mild 5 degrees and dry with no salt. Great lunch, good chat and good to see at least ONE Morgan in the car park, ahem..!!!!!

Took the two old girls, and the dog out for a nice fresh topless drive to the beach so the dog could stretch his legs. First Morgan drive for six weeks after being laid up with back problems.{ pleasant boxing day in A + E] The old lady fired up first time, no charging assistance required. Roll on spring.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Glad you've had a good trip and that your wife started readily and didn't charge you - these Plus 8's all do this they are very well behaved with proper wet batteries. I always leave the isolator switch off but never use a charger, they shouldn't need one to my way of thinking unless the basic design is flawed and lets face it some of the Morgan maths is not quite on the button.
Sorry to hear you have been laid up - I'll bet boxing day was a barrel of laughs with the -issartists in A & E..

It was in the low 40's (that's F, not C), clear and dry, so I drove a 12 mile loop on the country roads around my house. Topless as you all say. Should have worn a leather jacket, not a wool sweater. My right arm was pretty much frozen from hanging out in the wind.
At least the suspension and the brakes got some exercise
