I have just arranged a test drive of a Jaguar XE AWD.

Could be the next not-a-Morgan. Time for the Alfa Crosswagon to go.

I'll be very interested in your observations..

I'd have bought one, but I test drove a standard XE last year. It was too big for my parking space. Which is why I bought the A class 4matic.

Shame really, as I very much liked the XE.

We looked at one (not test drove) recently and are quite taken. Will look in to this more in the autumn.

Would like to hear your feedback.

Certainly nicer to drive than many alternatives.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I've just watched the Grand Tour, and the Jag is up against a Bentley (+220k GBP!) and Range Rover (+150k GBP). It was a fully spec'd Jag at about 52K GBP.

Seemed to be well liked, performed well and only comment was how it could it be made for relatively little money.

As you might expect not a "proper" review but the car held it's own. Same designer who did the Aston DB9 etc.

So are they saying that 52k is "relatively little money"?

I suppose it is for them, they get paid squillions.

I always think in terms of 'How long would it take me to save up that much?'.
"Flippin' yonks!" is the answer in this instance.

The key is in the word "relatively".

Compared to a Bentley or a Range Rover it IS relatively little money.
