Just hitting 15,500 miles and have worn out my second set of front tires. (also on my second rear tire too)
The first set of Avon tires, the factory set of tires worn out the quickest and had a very soft sidewalls.
This second set of tires has been from Blockley which lasted longer and had a stronger sidewall over the Factory
I'm going to try the Coker Excelsior tire now.
I'll let you know how the Excelsior work out.

Others in this forum have reported good results with Coker Excelsiors. I bought a pair to be installed by the dealer when my new M3W arrives. Got them from Summit Racing for $314, shipping included.

bought mine from the Coker website today.
still $314 each plus $53 dollars in shipping both tires. I thought Coker was a US company so very surprised at the prices you have to pay. Bought mine late last year from UK supplier here for £228 for the pair delivered including tapes (although not needed). It appears price has risen a little since then but still a lot less than you had to pay.

I'll check to see if there is a date on the tire to see how old they are? could there be a price difference for age?

The date code on the Coker Excelsior tires is 3616
March 6th, 2016 is what I make out of this.
