Good morning, I have question related to Boris, this morning upon startup he decided to do something new! This is what happened, my speedo has a digital readout for distance travelled, normally on startup the total km travelled is immeadiately displayed, today each digit in sequence went blank , then blinked for about 5 seconds then came back to normal. This has never happened before, the car ran normally no issues, is this some kind of diagnostic check? its never happened before.

On my 2010 4/4 a similar thing happens - but usually only in winter _ I put it down to the cold.After starting up ir rights itself after a few seconds.

Check that your battery is in good order. My Mondeo computer started to play up and was found to be due to a duff battery.
