FYI, I have a full badge bar but use a scoop to capture the air flow below the grill and shove it through the bottom of the radiator. Which makes the badges and badge bar a moot subject.

Cheers,

Other than My Club Badge I no longer display Badges on My Morgans. Not because they disrupt the air flow but because I really don't think anybody cares. Nobody has asked about My LeMans Badge, nor the Assen Badge, nor My Flog Mog Badge, nor My NBC badge so why did I display them? I do have them pinned to a wall of My house, they do remind Me of My Travels and Friends I have acquired because of Morgans.

Gentlemen, there are no excuses for not giving your Morgan proper accessories as the occasion deserves.

Or perhaps more reasonably this one shown below....truth be told that empty space in the top row above is killing me with my need for symmetry.

And for those who prefer the frontal view, here is the recommended limitation on number of badges in cooler climates.

I peaked at seven but settled on four.

Exactly.

They used to mean something to the owner, a sort of memento of big trips, adventures and the like. Something where a whole memory bank is triggered by just looking back at them, and something to pause wistfully over whilst cleaning them.

These days it seems the badges are 'de rigeur' with many duplicates selling for peanuts on internet auction sites for the fashion conscious owner, who probably feel they have to display them to belong.

I took mine off when I had the full bumpers fitted last December as the badge bar interfered with the spotlights. I was going to buy a more suitable bar but the more I look at the car, the more I like the cleaner look.

No problems at all
my badge bar is Diy, mounted in the recess of the bumper, not off the grill.
see below
