Chris-Scotland, Well, I nearly fell off my chair. On first sight I thought I was looking at my old car but then I realised that the wheels were a different colour. Is this a new purchase from Fraser? I absolutely loved mine, it was always a great deal of fun. Do make sure to join the JEC as there is an active group of SS100 owners on there.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

Yes, Suffolk SS100! A really beautiful and clever replica which was my favourite classic, lovely to look at and great to drive. That was a few years ago now, and now I love my Morgan!

I seriously thought about buying one from Suffolk and ended up with a Morgan. Why did you sell it? Was it very usable? Longest trip?

I sold the SS because we didn't find it comfortable for longish trips......too much buffeting with no side screens, and seats quite hard. It had similar storage behind seats to Morgan and a horizontal luggage rack. Mine had been round NZ so others didn't find it uncomfortable but the Morgan is that bit more useable for us. The straight 6 just seemed to purr after 30 miles or so! Lovely sensation.

Were I to ever sell my 8, I'd be in the market for one... they look to be beautifully made.
