I had the same problem after it had been at the factory for a service last year. The water coolant sensor fixed on the hose was not properly sealed. We were loosing about 1/4 of a litre per trip after the car had cooled and therefore like you found a pool of liquid under the car the next day. It took 2 more trips back to the factory before it was finally fixed. This might be your problem.

Thanks for the quick responses and some excellent advice, I've just went out for a quick run, and I think I've found the culprit...

This pic shows where the offending part is in relation to the coolant reservoir:

This is the actual part, its sipping out from the seal..

Could anyone tell me what that part is called? So that I could inform the dealer to order it in advance.

Cerealsurfer, if you think about moving house, please move to Manchester, great city laugh2

Oh! Thank you Simon for hosting the pic, so that at least I know what the sensor looks like smile

And thanks to cerealsurfer for giving me such detail explaination on how to take my car apart wink
Seriously, it would be nice if could post some detail explanations on how to take the wings off(with pics), really useful to those of us whom may wanted to perform their own maintainance thumbs
