Cat in the sun

I've a track day booked for next month so I thought I should give it a run, Caterhams are magic!
The old ones do seem to self destruct though, the alternator was near hanging off for no reason whatsoever.

It's not a good quality picture, but you may be able to make out, the rocks are teaming with seals.

I'd have posted more but my phone went flat.

Mine must be the narrow type, there's not an inch to spare, it's best not to wear bulky clothes and you need narrow shoes, but it's comfy once you're in. If I could only have one or the other, It would have to be the Morgan, but anyone with an ounce of interest in driving should at least try a caterham for a while.

you for sure have the ordinary body not SV type, plimsolls are best! agreed people should experience a quick caterham but overall my money and licence and better spent and protected with a 3 wheeler, the R500 K series I had was 0-60 in 3 odd seconds and the engine was a bomb waiting to explode, but gearing and overall ride realy best on track you simply cant use the power without endangering yourself or others, engine blows are ten grand as well and not that uncommon with K series lumps as head gaskets are weak

Those are lovely, I even wondered about retrimming mine with red leather, probably will one day.
You're also going to need a lotus Elise to complete your set of quirky British cars, the three brands together are, I often think, underrated even in their home market, but reading even just this thread, it's clear from the geographical location of everyone posting, the interest is worldwide drive
