Cat in the sun
I've a track day booked for next month so I thought I should give it a run, Caterhams are magic! The old ones do seem to self destruct though, the alternator was near hanging off for no reason whatsoever.
It's not a good quality picture, but you may be able to make out, the rocks are teaming with seals.
I'd have posted more but my phone went flat.

Great picture, nice to see a Seven here.
Having sold my last Seven recently, after having various ones in the garage for over 30 years, I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that I am now old enough, at 3 score and ten, to have a car with doors.
I often wonder if I am giving up too young though?

I love seeing cars gazing out to sea.....dreaming of journeys yet to come! Actually I'm just envious of your weather at the moment but your Cat did remind me (and PaulJ) of a recent trip when I joined a few classics to give a send off to a friends Dad, one of which was a Caterham. It's driver apologised for not getting out but said once he was in, he was in for the day! Chris

I had a Caterham 7 HPC for a few years in the late 90's and someone likened getting in and out of it with the hood up to "Posting a Giraffe through a letter box"

This one is a twin webbered crossflow 1992, it's a real fun overdose, very everything.....noisy,fast, smelly and draughty. I hate to say it, even though this one has a live axle, the suspension is actually better than the Morgan in every way. Getting out is a faff even with the roof and door off, it has harnesses rather than seat belts, most runs are non stop, A through the alphabet and back A.

Nice car. If I can't get a new Morgan 4/4 or a +4 state side I'm going to go for Caterham 420.

I've owned 7 cats, and they are all like squeezing into your school trousers, except the wide body jobs but the increase in weight is massive and they really lose the edge on drive for me.
