I think there is, at best, only a loose correlation between the order number sequence and the production sequence... From what I've been reading about how they progress, it's more dependent on parts availability and option selection and the whims of Malvern. But that's OK w/ me, just adds to the creation "mystique", eh?
Honestly though, I don't think it would be too much to ask for a bit more visibility into the order status for those in the queue. I considered taking a quick trip over to see mine come together, but the unpredictability of it all makes it not very practical to arrange.

When my car is complete, it will be at the dealer for at least a week while they carry out various upgrades.

I agree about it being about the specification. We were going to fly over and have a look at our car as it was nearing final assembly, luckily we did not do that because as it turned out we would have just been looking at a bare frame.

I did both, there are some pretty interesting photos in that book. none look like my finished car. It has silver fenders in all the photos.

Hi truckin-on, my build was scheduled for week 9 also. If yours has been pushed back, then so has mine.
It would be nice to know when 84083 gets started.
