Ok , so who did the flowers thing or card or taking the other half out tonight ? Or is it all a load of nonsense ? Luckily the wife thinks its all a con so thats me sorted ! Excuse for a glass of wine !

Well it didn't quite go to plan
My mum was taken into Lancaster hospital Sunday and so I visited last night armed with a lovely bunch of flowers only to be told by the staff nurses that because of 'health and safety' they can no longer allow flowers into the wards
It gave me and mum a bit of a chuckle which was probably a good thing considering the circumstances, returned home and gave them to Rach instead!

Mrs Gajet has now taken my breath away with her Valentines prezzie for me . You may know she is a true petrol head , and I often joke that she is on an 18 year mechanical apprenticeship She spent many years repairing cars with me, and at the drag strip with her late dad . To my amazement I got some spitfire cufflinks - Nice I thought until I realised they came with a certificate which authenticated them as being made from the inlet manifold from K9807 . Mk1 Spitfire number 12 that crashed in 1940 with the pilot bailing out Then I was treated to a chicken Pie with veg that she had hand crafted during the day and a cream cake afterwards Happy Days Gajet [img:center] https://goo.gl/photos/iu39dDJNrLx92uyu5[/img]

I hoovered through top to bottom of the house and received a wonderful dinner in return - love gets stronger after 46 years . I normally get a wonderful dinner every evening and I hoover through once a week ever since I took early retirement, it's all about teamwork  .
