The mileometer on my Plus 4 has always flashed (😉) since I got the car last September but is now blank. Does anyone know if it is repairable or does it mean a new speedo?

Yes the lcd on my 4/4 failed last year and I sent it away to the manufacturers Caerbont in south wales Cost me a tad over £50 and it worked for a very short time only before going completely blank. I intend getting back to them and seeking a replacement. There has to be a design weakness here for it to fail twice and other posts on this forum have similar reports.

Thanks, happened to call into Allon White today and asked. They tell me that it is known and often happens in cold weather. So I'll see if it returns in the spring along with the daffodils!

I'm not entirely happy with Caerbont at the moment. They seem to be a bunch of well intentioned mudlers. I hope to get my issues sorted out over the next month or so.

Thanks Allon White, took the Morgan out yesterday and the mileometer is fully functioning.
