Thursday Lunchtime, as the clouds had come out and I needed to excape my PC, I made a dash in the Morgan to the 'H' cafe which is on the Oxford road just past Benson. A proper biker's cafe. A mug of tea, and bacon butty later and all was right with the world.

Then this morning, after the weather looked like it would never improve, a crack in the clouds livened everything up, and the Morgan and I made two trips to our local visit. It seemed a shame not to.

Just from my home to Berrybrook this morning.
Aimed to get there for 08.30.
I had almost forgotten how appalling rush hour traffic is.

18 degs on the Rav4 digital thermometer , wish I had one on the Mog !

I have one integrated into the over-speed warning system on my 4/4. Works whenever the Nagivator is in the passenger seat.

Besides a short roll out for pictures on Feb. 2nd today was my first trip in 2017. Good to have the 4/4 back on the road again!
Most of the day bright sunshine and some 10°C. Still plenty of grit on the roads but no salt - we already had enough rain to wash it away.

Winter has gone (hopefully!)
The pic from Jan.2nd is a remeniscence to the cold and long lasting winter this year.

Drove up to Allon Whites for the annual servicing, MOT & to get fitted some anti tramp bars.

I haven't driven the Mog for a while so it was grintastic hood down fun.

Drove to Jolly Nice on the Cirencester to Stroud road. A very good lunch with SWMBO and drove back through Kemble and Ewen. Very satisfying.

Down to krazyhorse breakfast meet , and met Reg ,Iowbird , great character who knows a bit about cars , took him out in the Mog !

Yes indeed! Had to do a bit of work in Wellingborough so went in the Morgan. Very chilly!!! Then popped into an old friend in Bedford for a cuppa and a chat on the way home. 100 miles exactly there and back. Nice little run out with the heated seat on full blast.
