I agree and my one conversation with him, long, animated and interesting reassured me that first of all he is a. a good bloke and b. passionate about cars and of course Morgan cars. The "family council" probably doesn't mean a big new role for CM but if it ends the dispute that sidelined him then that's positive.

Tomorrow I shall go to the garage and wipe the oil stains from the autograph he signed under the bonnet of the Morgan formerly known as TWP.

Also great news about the financial results. The suits might be getting it right.

I would like to see CM again as an ambassador of the brand! Not many companies have the link to the founder and his name.

Sorry this below is in German, but it is Porsche, company and name. Some nice pictures how "traditional modest" the living room looks like.

When I worked as a cameraman, I twice visited Morgan and filmed interviews with Charles on both occasions.
The first time as I was pinning a microphone on his lapel, I mentioned that I used to work with at CNBC with his ex-wife, Vivienn Morgan....
He fixed me with a steely stare and just said "Did you".............oops
Second time I didn't bother bringing it up.!

Don't you just love families?

Good thing this is all over and I hope that over the next couple of years they can put the recent past behind them and get on with guiding the Company into the future.

Great news in my opinion, I always thought Charles was a very charismatic ambassador and a company as quirky as Morgan does well with this arrangement.

The current management is rather.. cold in its approach.

Whilst it is good to see CM back in the fold after a period in the wilderness, I think we should be debating the reason that MMC have given a press release to Autocar, after all, this could all have been done quietly within the family?

I wonder if he has recognised the error of his ways? These seem to include over ordering V8 BMW engines without consulttion, too much race activity and releasing the Three Wheeler before it was ready.

Or Charles could have ended up with a winning hand at court and this was one of the concessions the family had to accept. Who knows?

What an odd comment..

Must confess I haven't seen Jaguar Land Rover staff telling funny stories, or even Nissan chiefs juggling.

I think Morgan management are one of the most open and honest that I've ever known. They welcome people with open arms and spend time whenever they can chatting with people, so where the coldness comes in I have no idea..!
